Description: 18th C. Georgian period embroidery in glazed oval frame. - On closer inspection, you can see the small holes and markings from where the tacks would have once been. It's possible to have come from an oval-shaped chair on which you sat, though more likely it was the backing section of the chair. It shows the odd patch in the material, set in a brown oval-shaped glazed frame from a similar period that probably once held a mirror, and is ready to hang and enjoy as a decorative wall piece.
