Description: Schoenau & Hoffmeister German 25" Child Dolly Face Doll ~ Marked with Incised German doll mark on bisque head SH with the 5 pointed star between the S & H. The capital letters PB inside the star. The mold number 1909 under the star and GERMANY below. Number 6 is a size of the head. Features: ~Bisque Socket Head ~Open Mouth with four teeth ~Outlined lips with full lip color ~ Sleep very dark gray glass eyes with red dots in internal corners ~Painted feathered brows ~Painted lower and upper eyelashes similar to Jumeau eyes ~Real hair upper lushes, visible when her eyes are closed. ~Light coral dots at nostrils ~Nicely formed ears ~Rosy/peach cheeks ~ Ash blond vintage mohair wig (added later, made in USA) ~ORIGINAL, fully articulated ball jointed composition or Papier-Mache body, with probably wood or mix hands, movement at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees She is wearing obviously antique very cotton dress decorated with lace and tiny green ribbon around neck and gathered cuffs and added later long white net-style socks or stockings and black shoes . Measurements approximately: 25" tall, 12" - circumference of her head Stand is Not For Sale. Condition Report: AS PICTURED. Her bisque head is free of cracks, hairlines or restorations, some glue residue; tiny pin-size point mark or scratch on her right cheek, eyes open and close properly, her original body does show some age soiling and scratching, rubbing and some points of clipped off paint, some wear to her toes, and around the joints. Very loose stringing. The dress is fragile with some darkening and few holes commensurable to the age. Please note: different monitors may show some difference colors or shades.
