A great find from a local Massachusetts estate! This antique trade catalogue is over 122 years old! This antique volume is in good condition for being over 120 years old! A great piece of Lowell, Massachusetts history! Publisher cloth binding shows moderate wear, including soiling and rubbing to the boards and spine, as well as damp staining to the spine and some subsequent wrinkling to the cloth. Otherwise clean. The gilt title lettering to the front board looks great despite a bit of rubbing. Internally this volume is in good shape as well. Both boards are firmly attached to the binding and all page groupings are secure. Former owner’s signature visible to the front free endpaper; otherwise clean with no bookplates, inscriptions or library markings to note. Nicely preserved! The text block itself is also in great shape. Pages show minimal toning and are bright throughout. There is some minor foxing and soiling scattered throughout, as well as some light staining visible in the gutter, but for the most part this volume is incredibly clean. There are no rips, tears, writing or markings in the text to note. Beautifully preserved overall! Profusely illustrated with engravings.
