"Седок и другие рассказы" это вторая книга Гуревич. Первой книгой стал роман "Плоскогорье", который был издан типографией М. Меркушева в 1897 г. Но наиболее известной и нашумевшей книгой Л. Гуревич стал документальный очерк "9-е января. По данным анкетной комиссии" (изд. О. Н. Поповой, СПб 1906), написанный автором на основании около 300 письменных свидетельств и личного опроса более 80 участников и очевидцев, трагических 9 января. Она стала свидетелем событий «Кровавого воскресенья» в Петербурге. На основании своих впечатлений и опросов других свидетелей составила бюллетень с описанием трагических событий, который нелегально распространялся в России вместе с текстом, который стал классическим описанием событий этого исторического дня. Книга сразу была конфискована и уничтожена. Подлинник рукописи исчез с партийных архивов в 30-е годы. “Sedok (Grizzler) and Other Stories” is Gurevich’s second book. The first book was the novel "Highlands", which was published by typographyof M. Merkushev in 1897. But the most famous and sensational book of L. Gurevich was the documentary essay "January 9th. According to the questionnaire commission" (published by O. N. Popova , St. Petersburg 1906), written by the author on the basis of about 300 written testimonies and a personal survey of more than 80 participants and eyewitnesses, tragic on January 9. She witnessed the events of Bloody Sunday in St. Petersburg. Based on my impressions and interviews with other witnesses, I compiled a newsletter describing the tragic events, which was illegally distributed in Russia along with a text that became a classic description of the events of this historic day. The book was immediately confiscated and destroyed. The manuscript original disappeared from party archives in the 1930s.
