Description: Here we have a beautiful antique, artist-created, embossed Japanese postcard with inset real photo (of Tokyo?), postmarks and a stamp recognizing the 1905 Japan Tokyo Imperial Naval Review that took place during or after the Japan-Russo War of 1904-1905. We have lots of artistic and historically important postcards and other ephemera in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Clean and fresh, with nothing sticky or otherwise disgusting, and no funky odors. Full, robust coloration. Considerable edge and corner wear. Lies nice and flat. Collector's lightly penciled note on back, which is otherwise clean. Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
