Of octagonal sided baluster form, with pull off cover and mounted upon a spread footed base. Hallmarked for the Sheffield assay office, year date letter of a lowercase Gothic "o" for 1906, and makers mark of "RM" over "EH" set within a diamond lozenge, for Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall) of Sheffield. The condition of each caster is excellent, being free from any damage or dings, the leather covered twin door case has some external wear from age and usage, with the hinges fully functioning and solid.
