Description: Across Widest Africa. By A. Henry Savage Landor and published in New York City by Charles Scribner’s Sons. 1907, 396 and 511 pp, 9.75 x 7”, cloth binding. In as-is condition. Volume I is extremely worn, with the binding on the spine mostly detached. Hinges are heavily worn in the front, middle, and back. Wear and rubbing to boards and binding. Includes a pullout map, which has been mostly ripped from the book but still folds well. Volume II is in better condition, with minor wear to binding and much less severe hinge wear. Both books are heavily illustrated, with a couple illustrations detached. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An interesting and complete two-volume book on travels throughout Africa. Despite wear, this would be an excellent candidate for restoration. FORN-ABE-MSB-1121-Shelf-609-aj713
