Description: Vintage 1907 ceramic Priests of Pallas Holder, Hatpins, Pens, Pencils.This was a week long festival that was meant to promote Kansas City as the "Athens of the West".And mimic Mardi Gras in New Orleans. It lasted from 1887 thru 1912. Not sure what this piece is. Measures apprx 8" x 5" x 1.5". Not for letters but Hatpins, pens, pencils or what ever.Weighs almost 2 lbs. Marked on the bottom, but don't know who the maker was. Good condition with no major chips or cracks. So small nicks and crazing. See pictures.
