Nice copy of the 1907 Yearbook of the United States Department of Agriculture. Blue boards with silver lettering. Heavy book at 3lbs 7oz before packaged. Measures approximately 9¼" x 6" x 2" with 798 pages that include an Index. In addition there are 65 black/white and color illustration plates. Printed in 1908 by the Government Printing Office. Frontispiece is James Wallace Pinchot, the Editor and Assistant Chief, Division of Publcations. Check photos closely. CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Age-toned pages and some foxing. Cover has scuff/dings and one small spot on the lower-left spine where the surface is missing - see photo #3. Spine is sun faded. The gutter of the front/back endpages has been taped for reinforcement - photos #7-8. Previous owner's name inside front cover is covered with plain label. Check 24 photos closely.
