Description: This vintage elephant folio (17" X 13") book titled ""Oude Binnenhuizen in Nederland" (Old Homes in The Netherlands) offers a fascinating glimpse into the architecture and design of old home interiors and courtyards in the Netherlands. Published in 1908 by Karel Sluyterman, a professor at the Technical College in Delft this loose folio features 100 plates with beautiful illustrations. The book is in its original form and was printed in Dutch language by Nijhoff in S-Gravenhage (Hague). This oversized portfolio has tan cloth boards with orange lettering, tan cloth tie closures; 21 (2) pages of text followed by 100 b/w plates. Good condition for age, with some soiling, stains, edges worn and shelf wear to portfolio covers. These plates are large and any would be beautiful if framed. Great item.
