Description: Newton was born 2/9/1881 in Iowa. His father was Barnabas Kinley (IN) and his mother was Mary Caroline Miller (IA). In 1885 Newton was living with his parents and siblings in Lincoln, Story, Iowa where his father was a farmer. By 1900 the family was living in Santa Rosa Judicial Township, Sonoma, California. Newton married Edna Severy on 5/2/1907 in Santa Rosa. Newton and Edna settled in Santa Rosa where Newton a nursery manager/owner. Newton died on 7/9/1938 while trying to blast out a cherry tree in his orchard with dynamite. According the the burial listing book he is buried in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery but Find a Grave indicates he was buried with family members in the Santa Rosa Odd Fellows Cemetery. --- SEE PHOTOS !!!
