The American Tobacco Company, across 16 different brands, issued 524 subjects in packs of cigarettes and loose tobacco between 1909 and 1911. This listing is for Cincinnati Reds second baseman, Miller “Mighty Mite” Huggins (Hands At Mouth). Managing the storied New York Yankees franchise from 1918 until his death in 1929, Huggins led the team to six American League pennants and three World Series championships. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a manager by the Veteran’s Committee, Huggins managed the greatest single-season team of all-time – 1927’s “Murderers’ Row.” The card has a Sweet Caporal 350 Factory No. 30 back.
