Why buy Black & White cards that don't even measure up to the originals when you can have the realistic looking (Full-Colored prints) and feeling card in your hand. I have compiled 4200 images of baseball cards and photos from the mid 1800's through 1920's I have cards from the 1858 - 1920, including the 1887-90 Old Judge Set (N172) and the Old Judge Cabinets (N173) sets. Along with several set of Team Cabinets. Most of the cards are clear (I would say 95%). Most of the cards are on cardstock and laid out to the original size. For a security reason, a logo has been added to the back so that they can not be resold as original card, This has already been tried. 1909-1913 Sporting News Supplements (M101-2)Among the finest large-format baseball collectibles published in the early part of the 20th Century was the 100-piece series of sepia-toned supplements issued by The Sporting News. Initially issued in a size of about 7-1/2" x 10", by late 1909 the size evolved to about 8-1/2" x 10" with the team photos issued in a 16" x 10" format. The series was begun with the insertion of a supplement in the July 22, 1909, issue of TSN. One supplement was issued with each week’s paper through April 7, 1910. There were several gaps over the course of the next several years, until the final piece was issued with the TSN dated Dec. 11, 1913. Most of the supplements feature full-length poses of the players. Each is labeled “Supplement to The Sporting News” with the issue date at top. At bottom is a box with the player’s name and team. Backs are usually blank, but some supplements are found with colored advertising on back for various other collectibles from the newspaper. The TSN supplements were printed on heavy paper and are usually found with corner creases or other signs of wear. These cards come uncut from the printer suitable for framing or you can cut them to size.Check out our other High Quality ReprintsVisit poor-mans-cards.com
