A personal library stamp from the library of Paul Cox is on the title page. Some pencil inscriptions at the beginning of the volume from a previous owner. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are worn and some pages are loose, but pages remain attached and generally have good support. Photographs have some toning but are otherwise in good condition and clear to see. George Fuller Golden was a popular vaudeville entertainer in the early twentieth century and a leading member of the White Rats, the labor union for vaudeville entertainers. Vaudeville entertainment was a style of comedy that did not have moral or psychological intentions.
