Description: 1911 Beaver tail-Safety and slide release castings. As with my other listings these are castings and need to be worked and fitted to your frame. I sell a lot of these parts to builders and they work well. I use them as well in all my builds. These can be polished, cerakoted, blued or TIN coated all of which I do regularly to my builds. I prefer to polish mine and with a light oil on them when done they’ll last and look good for a very long time. These are from a reputable caster in LA and are 17-4 stainless steel. Yes they will rust if not maintained or neglected but even that’s gotta be when you abuse the part. Thanks
