Description: 1911 New York License Plate, very nice all original, 1 of 2 years without date. New York State started issuing license plates in 1910. The plates were dated '1910'. The following year, maroon background with white numbers (painted) were issued. These were 1911 plates. The following year, red background with white numbers (porcelain) were issued. These were 1912 plates. From 1913 through the mid 1960's the date was stamped into the plate. Look the pictures over closely and ask any questions BEFORE bidding.
