Description: Our Old Nursery Rhymes: the original tunes harmonized by Alfred Moffat and illustrated by H.Willebeek Le Mair. Augner 1911. Landscape format hardback with linen cloth boards. A reading copy only. Boards and spine show age related wear/marks. Corners of boards are bumped, edge wear, etc. Front hinge is separated entire length, front end paper is detached, evidence of old sellotape or similar repairs at spine. Unpaginated but all thirty nursery rhymes listed in the index are present with wonderful water colour illustrations by H.Willebeek Le Mair accompanying each nursery rhyme. Content is mostly clean, pages up to Lucy Lockett are free from binding but appear to be attached to each other with old sellotape down the binding edge. Rest of the pages seem to be still attached, just about, but they've all seen a bit of action. Sold as a reading copy only. Please study photos for idea of condition. Please be aware this is a well used antique item, over 100 years old, & will show considerable signs of age and use throughout.
