Description: A lovely herbarium of native wildflowers collected by an Elena Lindsey of Sidney, Shelby County, Ohio in 1912. The album consists of 25 loose card leaves with manuscript writing to the printed blanks and the heading of "Sidney High School" to one side. Plant specimens with additional writing are found on the other. The card leaves each measure about 9" x 11" and are generously shown in images here. Lindsey included detailed notes on when and where she acquired the plants and named locations include Vandemark's Woods ; Potts' Woods ; and Children's Home Woods.
