Description: This is an original double sided 18x26 hand colored Sanborn atlas maps of 1913 with updates to 1930, CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN NY Plate 68 Covers Eastern Parkway to Crown St. & Troy Av. to Schenectady Av.Plate 69 Covers Eastern Parkway to Crown St. & Schenectady Av. to Utica Av. The numerals inside the structure indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, grey is stone, blue is iron and pink is brick. The X's through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable or garage. Double green parallel lines indicate the original streets from the 18th Century and the maps also indicate with green dotted lines the first deed holders. The X's through a small circle indicates a fire hydrant, et cetera. I am selling my collection of rare maps.
