1913 Hampden "Wm. McKinley" 17 jewel Pocket Watch in a Dueber Gold Filled case

Description: Here is a beautiful 1913, size 16s Hampden Watch Co. Antique Pocket watch. The watch movement Grade is Wm. McKinley w/17 jewel pendant set movement with white sapphire jewels. This is NOT a Railroad Grade watch. Watch is a bridge plate openface movement with screw-set jewel settings and a Hampden Star Regulator. Movement has an elaborate damaskeen nickel finish with gold gilt lettering. Watch adjusts to temperature and 5 positions. This watch has a very nice double-sunk dial, with a second hand register and fancy Arabic numerals and is marked "Hampden Watch Co." There are no hairlines or scratches present on the dial. Spade and whip hour and minute hands have an azure blue finish. Bow is tight and watch winds and sets easily. The watch was manufactured circa 1913 with movement Serial Number: 3058515. The movement appears very clean and watch keeps good time. Watch is encased in a Dueber 20 yr Guaranteed Gold Filled screw back and bezel case (Serial number: 10745942) with a beautiful Die engraved back with a blank Engraving shield. The case and crystal are in very nice condition This watch measures 49 mm in diameter X 67 mm long (at bow) X 14 mm thick (crystal included).
