Description: First let me say this medal is perfect silver color which is coming out a bit yellow in my scans. My lighting or camera is off. From my airship collection I offer this original 1914 silver very scarce silver zeppelin bombing France medal. This medal is listed by Kaiser as his #405.1 I have the bronze version up now. The obverse has the familiar Count 3/4 facing right legend and birth date around. The very detailed reverse with legend in German "OUR ZEPPELIN...AGAINST FRANCE" The zeppelin is spewing gun smoke. Hope it is not poison gas which was in use during that great war. Medal is 40.5mm and is much sharper than what I am able to capture in my scans. A superb gem. You will be pleased.
