Description: From my airship collection I offer this original 1914 bronze medal of the war role of zeppelin's. Similar to my other listed now. No inner circle on this one and legend a bit different also. This one is listed by Kaiser as his #406. The obverse has the familiar Count 3/4 facing right legend and birth date around. Maker M&W St. on shoulder. The very detailed reverse with legend in German "OUR ZEPPELIN. IN ACTION. AGAINST FRANCE" roughly. The zeppelin is spewing gun smoke. Hope it is not poison gas which was in use during that great war. Medal is 33.7mm and is sharper than what I am able to capture in my scans. You will be pleased. U.S. shipping is $4.
