Description: I am going to be selling off some of my late father's pocket watches that he acquired over the years. He was a certified watchmaker for over 60 years. All of these watches will show wear, dings, scratches and other characteristics of an antique pocket watch that was used for its purpose many years ago. There will generally be scratches around the indent where you open the lids. It is not recommended that you use a watch like this as an everyday watch. I also do not recommend anyone getting into the movement of the watch, if they are not experienced with working on these kinds of watches. I will be transparent and take many pictures and show any wear and blemishes, please look at them closely so you know what you are getting. This watch was cleaned, had an alloy mainspring put in and a new plastic crystal. There was also a professional hinge repair done at a cost of $184.00. The watch was then put away in a case only to be taken out occasionally to be wound. This watch winds up, runs and keeps time.
