He invented the card sandwich in 1917 and was a prolific author of magic card tricks. This booklet comprises instructions to the flying handkerchief and cigarettes, the ring and paper napkin, and numerous further card tricks. From the library of magic historian and collector J B Findlay, with his bookplate to verso front wrap. CONDITION In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally with bumping to extremities. Vertical creasing to wraps through to text block. Internally, firmly bound. Odd light minor spotting to odd leaf, pages otherwise bright and clean throughout.
