This was shown in a Tammen sales catalog from 1922. The Denver visitors would have purchased this or something like this to take home. Then brag to anyone that would listen, it was a "real western cowboy pipe holder purchased in the wild, wild west!" Size is 3 3/4" tall, and 5 3/4" long. It isn't broken, but does look used! The 7 photos will show it well, but if you have a question, email me. The horn is authentic and it is old, but without a Tammen logo or makers mark on it, I can't guarantee it came from H. H. Tammen. Tammen was known to put paper labels on items just to get them "out the door." So not everything he sold was actually made in Denver. But it is American anyway!
