Description: Inherited from the estate of a family friend, this listing is for one 6" x 3" vintage postcard. The front image depicts a native person on a camel under a pair of palms trees with the pyramids in the background. The backside is numbered 13, titled, "Cairo--The Pyramids of Gizeh". It was published by Lehnert & Landrock, who were also the photographers, in the early 1920s in Cairo. Lehnert & Landrock postcards are the most beautiful as far as subject, composition, contrast, and print quality I have ever seen. Please check out my many other listings to see the whole collection. Condition: The sepia postcards have deepened in tone with age and are peppered with age spots most likely due to the paper composition. They are a unique, elongated size: 6" x 3".
