This scarce antique magazine is over 98 years old! Gilt embellished front cover still shines brightly despite wear! Exterior shows moderate creasing, some soiling and rubbing, and general wear around the extremities, including minor edge tearing, and bumping to the corners. The spine also shows a bit of soiling, but the issue number, title and publication date can still be read. Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. There is a bit of cracking to both the front and rear hinges, however both covers and all page groupings remain attached to the stapled binding. Staples show some rusting as pictured. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from bookplates, signatures, inscriptions and library markings. Feels sturdy overall! The text block of this volume is clean throughout. There is some typical age-related toning to the pages, some light soiling, and some light staining in the margins throughout caused by early exposure to moisture. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout!
