Description: This is a 1927 catalog (see pictures) published by the CENTRAL NOVELTY AND CONFECTION CO. of DETROIT, MICHIGAN. It is 14 pages in length, and was apparently designed to provide prizes to winners in the "Peppy-Speed Race". For example, a winner could get a leather wallet for running 260 miles, or a waffle iron for running 675 miles. This catalog is loaded with black and white pictures and descriptions of some of the nicest merchandise of the Roaring Twenties--from a men's Elgin watch and a Star-Rite electric toaster to a Belber traveling bag and an Eastman folding cartridge Hawkeye camera! This catalog is clean and intact, exhibiting some wear and creasing from handling and storage over the past 93 years. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that running enthusiast, Detroit historian, or vintage publication collector in your life! Postage is $3.75. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
