Description: offered by ...... CompanyStoreAntiques of Rhode Island A WORD ABOUT FEEDBACK: I am available to help at anytime, if a problem arises, just message me! Both US and international buyers welcome!Original 1927 photo of group of men standing in front of a biplane at an aeroplane factory, possibly in Virginia. Photo belonged to A. Van Buren of the Mutual Bldg in Richmond, VA. Henry Woodhouse is the last man on the left. Photo dated January 26, 1927. Just a very nice photo that reflects the simple, almost makeshift style of the early aviation days, with the type of factory building on a dirt road near the beach. There were so many one off people building aeroplanes, and this could have been some sort of startup in Virginia. More research would have to be done.Photo meas. approx.: 4 5/8"x 6.75" Period date on back of photo: January 26, 1927Original period writing on back of photo: "A. Van Buren, 1208 Mutual Bldg., Richmond, VA, January 26, 1927."Photo is from a large lot of original period press photos! They are not from the Brown Bros. archive.
