The print depicts a bare breasted female figure sitting under a large tree holding a caged bird. The print is signed in pencil to the lower margin and also numbered 197 (out of 250). Icart was born in Toulouse and died in Paris, but lived in New York City in the 1920s, where he became known for his sensuous Art Deco colored etchings of women. COA on the verso.
