Elena Ivanenko (Ivanenko-Shaposhnikova 1888 - 1971) - Moscow painter and graphic artist. In the 1920s she illustrated children's books in the Moscow publishing houses "Working newspaper" and G. F. Mirimanova. The first issue of the children's literary and artistic magazine "Murzilka" was published in 1924. The image of Murzilka was created by the artist A. Kanevsky in 1937. The Murzilka magazine is published monthly in books, printed in large print, with a lot of drawings and with a cover in colors, with applications - in the form of pictures for cutting and gluing.
