Earle Liederman (1888-1969) was a vaudeville strongman, an author, a journalist, and a radio broadcaster. He originally went to college to become a physical fitness teacher. Instead, he become a pioneer of mail order fitness programs. The FTC ended that part of his career in the late 1920s for false advertising.
