Description: 1930's WILKINSON SWORD 'EMPIRE' RAZOR in CHROME BOX - uses Hollow Grounds Click images to enlarge Description A Wilkinson Sword 'Empire' Razor in chrome case. Patent no. 321115, made in England. Complete with razor rest and a strop, it also has a wooden holder for hollow ground blades. This razor design allows the blades to be stropped whilst in situ. I have included a photocopy of an old instruction leaflet for information. The chrome case has a wooden interior with blue lining and gilded logo inside the lid. The razor weighs 80g. The leather strop is a Scorcher and is impressed at one end:"The Scorcher 531B", and the other an image of the globe with a cyclist on the top and "The Scorcher" beneath. Condition / Defects: In very good condition; general but light wear from use. Please supersize the photos to see better.
