Description: This is a sale for a 100% original program for the Indiana University Hoosiers at the Michigan Wolverines for their 1931 tilt. This program is in GOOD Minus condition. Sold the previously pictured program thru my direct retail channel, I try to be a high volume seller. This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * First and foremost, this is a hard to find program, not quite scarce but it is a toughie in the Big House era. * The reason why this is so rare is the fact only 26,410 people attended the game and given survival rates, there just aren't many out there. * The paper this year's program was printed on is awesome, it's like a canvas material...so it's literally like a picture, a piece of art. * The program features Harry Kipke (Coach), Maynard Morrison, Bob Monnett, Bill Hewitt & future All-Americans Chuck Bernard, Harry Newman, Ted Petoskey, Ivan Williamson & Francis Wistert (UM) and AA Joe Zeller (IU). Before I delve into the flaws, let me share the great things about the condition. The original staples are solidly intact and both the cover and all pages including the center are solidly intact and are not close to separating. The program is unscored with no writing too!!!! And all pages are accounted for, a must!!! Note - I am desperately looking for ticket stubs to the 1932 and 1959 games between these two teams. Happy to make it well worth your time. The less than ideals are: the biggest flaw is the overall handling wear. Given the awesome canvas like paper stock, creases can easily be seen so normal surface, edge, spine, page turn wear exists and corners are rounded. Despite these flaws, the cover presents quite nicely. Internal pages present fantastically. The back shows similar handling soiling and surface wear as well as some soiling at the top center but given it's white paper it shows more easily. All-in-all this program is in decent shape but for a hard to find program, this is a great program. Please see pix.
