Description: You can own this historic highboy roadster; the PATRIOT. This unique highboy roadster transported a USA NASA Astronaut as the GRAND MARSHALL (see photos) in the VETERANS PARADE in Spokane Washington. The iconic style is unmistakeable with the Duval Windshield, White Wall Tires and Chrome American Racing Wheels. If that's not enough - the PATRIOT ROADSTER comes with two sets of tires and wheels. Please note there are two different designed American Racing Wheels shown in the attached photos - BOTH SETS come with the Patriot Roadster.The Magnesium style American Racing Wheels have chrome spinners and have about 700 miles on them; while the White Wall Cheater Slicks are mounted on the Chrome American Racing Wheels; the white wall tires have less than a 100 miles on them as yu can see - they still have the nubs on them. This is a mildly used hot rod. The body is fiberglass - so you can forget about having some rusting as many steel roadster s are plagues with in time. The paint is PPG: MAEA enamel. The Duval windshield sets this roadster apart from the run of the mill ordinary roadsters. The heart beat of the PATRIOT is a vintage reliable 327 Chev, warmed over with .030 overbore and double hump heads, that breath through the vintage style SANDERSON cast headers. The engine is adorn with lots of chrome, and vintage designed finned accessories. The Patriot is a smooth running relaxing hot rod to cruise in, but if you must kick the four barrel carb in - it will set you back in your seat! The transmission is a GM 350 turbo, with a nicely streetable 2,00 - 2,300 stall converter. The suspension up front is a fully chrome 4" drop and drilled straight front axle, and the rear suspension is a Speedway poished 4 bars with a 8" ford rear end. The roadster is a very light hot rod, weighing in at 2600 lbs. so a heavier 9" ford rear end was not necessary. This is a very smooth running, comfortable riding hot rod. The interior features a TEA's urgonomic designed seat. TEA's (teasdesign.com) is the finest hotrod seats in the world; check them out!. The roadster is very comfortable especially for those long crusies. It's not enough to look cool if your not comfortable. The trunk latch is hidden under the roadster, as is the hidden license plate when the car is not running. There is no sound system in the roadster, although the previous own had started to install one.
