Description: 1933 - 34 FBI Most Wanted Posters Dutch Schultz Arthur Flegenheimer x2 Original The Card stock type paper poster that is post marked 1934 was issued by the Division of Investigation US Dept of Justice - this is a predecessor to the Federal Bureau of Investigation both were headed by J Edgar Hoover. It is a poster that was sent from DOJ to the Sheriff of Burlington Kansas. For the apprehension of gangster / mobster Dutch Schultz. It is original - not a copy - it is in very good condition - and one of the rarest of the prohibition mobsters of this era. Identification order was issued Nov 19 1934 - issued by J Edgar Hoover, Director - it is written in pencil on the poster that he was apprehended on Nov 28, 1934. Mr Flegenheimer ( "aka" The Dutchman / Dutch Schultz) is one of the most famous NYC mobsters from the 1920's - 1930's era, also having extensive ties to Lucky Luciano, Murder Inc. Lepke Buchalter and many more Era Mobsters . Dutch Schultz was Killed in October 1935 Gunned down in Newark NJ by 2 hitmen sent from The Commissions infamous Murder INC. because Shultz wanted Murder Inc. to allow Schultz to have a Hit put on NY Prosecutor Thomas Dewey who was prosecuting Schultz on the Federal Income Tax Laws named in the wanted posters being offered . Also includes a paper City of New York Police Department Detective Division Circular - - one sided - thin paper - also for the arrest of Mr Flegenheimer - dated March 9, 1933. It has a tear on one side where it was folded - shown in photos - has classification numbers written in pencil top right corner. Has some numbers / letters written on it in pencil by the fingerprints shown in photos. This is not postmarked it is one sided.
