Description: For anyone unfamiliar with these historic publications- Famous Slugger Yearbooks are probably the biggest secret (and bargain) when it comes to memorabilia from the actual playing days of greats like Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, and the like. The publishers in the earliest editions, were trying to figure out what information and photos would be of the greatest interest to baseball fans. The very first issue was in 1927. This 1933 edition was the 7th in the series that continued annually through 1978. The 1933 is a beauty as they included quite a few more photos of players than earlier issues.
