Description: 1934 CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR SOLO BALL SOUVENIR GAME CUP ONLY BALL MISSING This Solo Ball game cup was part of our huge Worlds Fair and Exposition Collection. We mostly collected 1933/34 and 1939/40 items but also have many pieces from much earlier to much later Fairs. We offered the entire collection as a buy it now on eBay last Fall with no takers and have since decided to piece it out. My husband, seller named Jal12147 and I will be listing pieces till it’s all sold. Sold as a souvenir at the 1934 Chicago Worlds Fair, the Solo Ball Game was sold as. Popular souvenir. The game consisted of a cone and a ball. Using the cone, you would toss the ball into the air and catch it, also with the cone. Unfortunately, the ball disappeared long before our time, but the cup remained in pretty good, original shape. It’s made of a stiff, cardboard-wood type of composition and has a game label detailing the instructions and the words “Reg. US Pat. Office” and PATENT PENDING” and a 1934 Worlds Fair souvenir label. The cup is 7” long and 2” wide R the top. There is wear and some staining befitting its almost 90 year history, but it’s still solid with no punctures or holes. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures. Thank yiu for looking!
