Description: This is the set used on a registered cover addressed to Claremont, Cape. The stamps are cancelled FRANCISTOWN 6 May 1935, which was Jubilee day, but not the day of issue of the stamps, which was 4 May. There is a further strike of the cancel on the reverse and a CLAREMONT receipt mark of 9 May 1935. The cover has not been slit open.I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries.
