Description: This is a listing for a 32-page 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" Advertising Recipe Cookbook Booklet and companion promotional recipe card. This is called "Midwinter Meals for 2 or 4 or 6." This has the advertisement for "Saturday Night Serenade" the CBS Radio Show with Mary Eastman, Bill Perry, The Serenaders & Gus Haenschen's Orchestra. Also noted is the Radio Demonstrations by Mary Lee Taylor. This booklet has colored covers and black and white illustrations inside showing not only some of the dishes you can prepare in silver, glass, china or pottery dishes of the time, being 1936. The double-sided card had promotional information as well as a few recipes. I have provided some example pictures of some of the pages. The lady that collected this did so in the 1910's, 1920's, 1930's and 1940's.
