Description: 1936 RARE Surrealist Artist RAMON PUYOL Spail El Acaparador Serie 1.a Postcard In 1936, Puyol produced a series of 10 political caricatures published by Altavoz del Frente, focusing on the surrealist technique. This image is one of that series; marked Serie 1.a. Puyol was later sentenced to death for his art after WWII but Franco later commuted his sentence to utilize Poyol's talent to restore Tiepolo frescoes in the Monastery of San Lorenzo Escorial.
