1938 Watkins Cook Book from THE J.R. WATKINS CO - Elaine Allen 1st Edition 288pp

Description: Wire-bound spine in great condition for being over 60 year old.Wire-O-binding allows pages to lay flat. Copyright 1938 by the JR Watkins Company 288 pages with inside cover pages too. The Original 200 page Watkins New Cook Book published in 1936, was replaced with this revised and expanded book in 1938. This copy is in nice condition but does have a couple of issues - why I'm listing it less than my other copy that sold for over $20 all totaled. The first two pages are missing, but I have included prints of scans of the missing pages - p1 inside cover page with title, price and date (reverse p2 is blank) p3 an introduction to All Watkins Customers from author, reverse p4 the Table of Contents. All recipes are present. 6 color product display ads between pp48/49 pp120/121 and pp192/193 are in perfect condition. Book is slightly darker blue than it appears in these photos.
