Description: A number of years ago I retired from Electro-Motive Division of General Motors. Over the years we tore down most of our old manufacturing buildings and all kinds of stuff was discovered in old closets, file cabinets, etc. I found a box of old printing plates that dated to the 1941 & 1942 time frame. At the bottom of the box was this poster. I'm guessing it was produced around the same time frame as a proof for the customer. The printing company used this to separate out some of the printing plates so they wouldn't get scratched.The poster was folded so the artwork was protected so that's why it's in such good condition. This was probably a general purpose poster and the dealer inserted something in the blank yellow space. Neat old find and I think the value is in the old artwork on the top of the poster. Paper restorers would most likely mount this to a piece of linen or hardboard and the folds would probably disappear. This artwork would look great framed. Will send USPS
