Description: Up for auction is a beautiful censored Airmail Stampless cover from the Prisoner of War, POW, camp internment camp in Dehra Dun, India to San Francisco CA USA . Beautiful cancels and markings. PostmarkEd in 1940s . In excellent condition. Priced to sell. The Dehra Dun camp held Jewish detainees who were German citizens who had fled Germany before the war. Refered to by the British at "Friendly enemy aliens" they were locked up for the duration of the war.
