There are school name cards, a 1930 Phillipsburg class photo with names written on back, several checks made out the him and a "Belva", receipts of items purchased by him, identification cards and driver's license and more. There are 125 checks from the early 1940s written out by Belva E. Carey. Ellis sold greeting cards and has a sales record book. The greeting cards all have his name printed inside.
