Description: 1940s Men's Benrus Manual Wind Watch This is a very nice men's Benrus manual wind watch, made in Switzerland sometime during the 1940s. The 17 jewel Model AR15 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The dial is in very good condition for its age - there are a few small scratches and standard patina throughout. The cool looking 14k R.G.P. (Rolled Gold Plated) case with ridged lug tops has been cleaned and polished, and shows only minor surface scratches from past use and minor gold loss on the hard edges of the bezel and lug bottoms. A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed. A brand new Kreisler brand brown lizard calf strap has been installed. Overall, the watch is in very good condition and ready to wear!
