1940's Nancy Ann Storybk Doll #187 A January Merry Maid for New Year

Description: 1940's Nancy Ann Storybook Doll "A January Merry Maid For New Year" #187 measuring approximately 5 1/4 inches T with a yellow skirt and purple(purple blue - back side appears more blue, possible original color was blue and has faded?) top taffeta dress with blue and orange ribbon trim at the bottom of the skirt. She has a matching purple taffeta tall pointed hat on her brunette (wavy and curly hair) head and the hat has blue and yellow ribbon streamers. Her hair is a bit untidy, like she actually went to a New Year's party:). I did not try to alter it in any way. She has ivory cotton bloomers and under slip. Her face and shoes are hand painted. Bisque body is a flesh toned color. Signature safety pin closure is holds the dress together at the back just below the dress opening that exposes her imprinted name. Her imprint was not done very firmly, so the stamp Story Book Doll USA is not as clear as normal. I have not disturbed the outfit or tried to clean this item. Original box measures approximately 8 3/4 inches x 7 3/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches. You are buy-in a Nancy Ann Vintage doll with the original box. This is a very old doll. This doll was purchased with a collection from a high value estate sale. The dolls appear to have been for collecting and not play. No refunds or returns.
