NOTE: This is a conversion water pump for the 1955-62 Chevrolet 235ci 3.8L engines installed in the earlier 1941-54 vehicles. The stock 1955-62 water pump pulley will not work on this shorter pump. This kit is for casting numbers 3736567 and 3836160 with the short shaft pump with fan hub and the overall height is 4-1/8" tall. You can use your old taller pump with this kit to make the shorter one. This rebuild kit consists of the following components: 1- New 5/8" water pump bearing. 1- New unitized water pump seal. 1- New water pump fan hub. 1- New water pump steel stamped impeller. 1- New mounting gasket. NOTE: The seal installation tool is available in our eBay store. NOTE: The last picture is for a reference only. No pump is supplied with this purchase.
