This is the 1943 silver six pence coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays the bust of King George VI facing left on the obverse. The coin has the words "GEORGIVS VI D : G : BR : OMN: REX" surrounding the king's bust. The reverse displays crowned monogram dividing the date with the denomination below it and the legend "FID.DIF.IND.IMP." above it. The coin is nicely toned with shades of gold along the edge. The coin has a reeded edge. It is KM 852, weighs ~2.8 grams of 0.500 silver and is ~19 mm in diameter. A nice coin to add to your collection.
