1943 Italian M1891 Bayonet by Castelli, w. Scabbard, Belt Hanger

The right side is unmarked. The left side of the crossguard is marked “PS 1943” which indicates 1943 manufacture. The front of the guard has a "6" (9?) near the barrel ring and a small mark on the other end.The blade is straight. The edge has not been resharpened and is not nicked. The blued finish is moderately worn but remains smooth. There's no rust or pitting or detractions. There's few traces of what looks to be varnish left on some of the metal. It comes off by hand easily if you wanted to remove it. There's a bit on the tang and some near the tip of the blade. It's not rust.The wood grips are good, with small marks from use but no cracks or problems. They're secure.The scabbard is in very good condition. It has some very minor dents and marks. The black finish looks is in good condition. I don't see any markings on the scabbard.The green/gray belt hanger is in excellent condition. The leather shows a little wear at the opening where the stud on the scabbard fits but would look about new otherwise.
